Best internet protection?

what is the really best best internet protection, im using CA Computer Associates Internet Security Suite but its lagging on me on updating i like it, but i reisntall it a few times and then the same problem on updating happens again, so ill try somethign new, what is recommended for anti-spyware, anti-virus, and personal firewall i like the the firewall in CA i get to chose what to block from certain sites, i dont remeber being able to do that other firewalls i used, id like something similar to what i used, help me out here i wanna be super protected with the right software
