I had a security protection on the computer that short cut was a shield and was free but not now how

my computer crashed and i lost my protection. it had virus, spy, parent control, and mail protection with anti spam all free to me but i can't find out how to get it all back. i am afraid to check anything on the computer. the shortcut looked like a silver shield.

I recommed u download a anti-virus and anti-spyware program to get rid of the virus,trojan ,worms,spying software download some from download.com or majorgeeks.com or tucows.com there u can download Mcfee anti-virus or Norton Anti-virus and AVG Free its free ...for anti-spyware u can download Adware-SE and Spybot Search %26 Destroy they are the best.. and dont click on the shortcut it can lead u to a site that can harm ur computer.do what I told u.

forget about that crappy program and get antivir. it is free, downloadable online. it is really good.
