I THiNK I HAVE A VIRUS ON MY COMPUTER?

I download this program and I opened it and put in my user and pass and I was talking to the guy who sent it to me through msn and he guided me along the way and when I put my user and pass into it, it showed up in msn and he saw it all and it kept on doing that and my browser would go to pages that I never even clicked on. I opened my firewall protection and it opened up its page by itself. I have Zonealarm Pro but when I check the anti-virus monitering it says that it doesn't detect one on my computer. I've already scanned on Pro and Spybot S%26D and fixed those problems but I'm afraid that I still have the virus. How can I check to be sure???

You gave him access to your computer. The "random" surfing and such that you were seeing was him controlling your computer from his. This is a funny prank to play to people that you know, but to allow someone access to your computer can completely destroy it, as well as allow them access to anything on it. Disconnect your computer from the internet and uninstall whatever he had you install, or your computer is his. Its not a virus per say, as it is a remote access program... many tech support people use this method in business to fix the computer inept staff's tech problems, but removing the program should fix it... worst case scenario, leave it disconnected from the computer, backup your documents and reformat. Better safe than sorry.
