OK there is this balloon that keeps popping up telling me "system performance monitor: warning", saying that I have spyware and adware popup windows installed on my computer. The thing is, I've run both Symantec Anti-Virus and Spybot: Search and Destroy, and they have come up with no threats. So apparently the only "threat" on my computer is this ad that keeps coming up about needing anti-spyware. When I click on Internet Explorer, it now defaults to a security software download page. I've tried going into settings, add/remove programs, and removing whatever this is, but I can't find it and I don't know how to make it go away. There is also now this annoying toolbar at the top of my browser that has these tabs across the top: Protection Bar, Scan for Spyware, Remove Adware and Popups, SPAM Protection, and Security Test. And then this dialogue balloon keeps popping up in the lower right-hand corner about every 15 seconds telling me I need to "click on it and download spyware scan tool."
Is there any way you can help me with this "anti-spyware" problem on my computer??anti virus software
