Recommendation on a good anti-spyware/registry cleaner?

I formerly had PC Tools' Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic, but the license has expired on those two and they no longer offer a discount price for getting both programs.

Can you steer me towards something equally good that I should look into getting? I'm looking for protection from spyware, malware, etc.

I'm not locked into getting a Registry cleaner, but would like to.

BTW, I use AVG's updated free version, so I feel I'm covered on the anti-virus front.

Any useful suggestions very much appreciated. Thanks.

alibaba told u the right thing to do, I personally have been using ccleaner for the past so many yrs now, also Ad aware is the other software which cleans the unwanted adwares, registry keys, or spyware. I use NOD 32 as my anti virus software.

I hope u indeed get ccleaner and ad aware as both these softwares r free and easy on the resources, since the softwares r not huge and r very easy to use it makes life much easier. Space consumption is less and hogging on memory is next to nothing, thus will not make ur PC slow either, nice utilities.
If you have windows xp with Service Pack2, you can download Windows Defender. It is a free download from Microsoft.com.
