What is this optnet program that has magically appeared on my toolbar?

Has anyone seen this 'program' on their computer?

My boyfriend downloaded a norton program last night then deleted it (i already have norton, i dont know what he was playing at), since then this 'optnet' has appeared -

it is acting like an anti-virus program - buttons for 'remove popups', 'scan spyware', 'security test' and 'spam protection' have apperaed on my toolbar.

I have run a search but cannot locate the program to uninstall/remove.

I have windows vista, IE and norton anti virus

Is there anyone who can pls help?

Since last night my widows browser has also been restarting itself - which it never did before.

Much Thanks

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/...... . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run SuperAntiSpyware---http://www.snapfiles.com/get/SuperAntiSp...

Now to prevent spyware from being installed in the first place....

Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html....

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.

It's main features include:

- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
